Portland on a 45 min narrated tour aboard a vintage fire truck as we travel all around the city. Our guides will show you all the best Portland has to offer including civil war forts and historical lighthouses.

Welcome to Portland Fire Engine Company Tours in Maine. 

Portland Fire Engine Co. operates a unique multimedia history tour of Portland Maine aboard a vintage Fire Engine.  We explore the great views of Casco Bay and its many lighthouses and forts as well as the amazing architectural buildings hidden inside of Portland.  The tour is a great way of reliving Portland’s past and the viewing area high up on the Fire Engine gives amazing views of Casco Bay as well as fantastic opportunities for photographs.

The tours are approx 50 minutes in length and are fully narrated with a very knowledgeable guide displaying high resolution photographs from the Maine Historical Society through our onboard multimedia system which includes a large flat LED TV.  We carry 12 people and thus for larger groups we split the parties up allowing time for shopping , eating, or just exploring the Old Port.
